David Schwimmer is an accomplished actor, director, and producer. He is co-founder of the Lookingglass Theater Company in Chicago, recipient of the Tony Award for best regional theatre. His many television and film acting credits include the hit comedy series Friends, for which he received his first Emmy Award nomination. He has directed over 20 plays, and his television and film directing includes Friends; the HBO series Little Britain USA; Since You’ve Been Gone; Run, Fat Boy, Run; and the independent drama Trust. He recently completed production on the film LOVE, which he produced for the BBC, and is currently filming Will & Grace and the new Steven Soderbergh film The Laundromat. For over two decades, Schwimmer has dedicated his time and talent to raising public consciousness about rape and sexual harassment. Last year, he executive produced and starred in #ThatsHarassment, six short films and three PSAs released digitally and on television (and currently running in all New York City and Chicago taxi cabs). After forming partnerships with the Ad Council, RAINN, and the National Women’s Law Center, he helped launch a national campaign to empower victims and bystanders while providing tools to help employers create safe work environments.
