Amali Adler-Waxman’s career has focused on leading global and local strategic initiatives in advocacy, policy, communication, and the development of strategic multi-stakeholder relationships. She has worked in corporate, government, UN, and NGO settings with special expertise in global health. Prior to working with Teva, Adler-Waxman was the global head of Nestle nutrition corporate affairs and communication. Before this role, she worked at Pfizer nutrition as director of international and market affairs. During 2000-2005, Amalia led the development of the World Health Organization’s “Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity, and the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases.” She served as head of the division of international affairs and public relations at The Weizmann Institute of Science.
