The first-ever BSR Member Forum will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 6. Leading up to the start of BSR18, this intimate event will bring together leaders from our global network of member companies to collaborate, co-create, and network.
The sustainability field has made immense advances over the past 10 years, but for further progress, we need to build sustainability considerations into the core of how companies operate and make strategic decisions. Therefore, we consider that sustainability leaders should reimagine their job functions in four key ways: as the creator of value for companies, as futurists, as change agents, and as coalition builders.
This interactive session will explore how sustainability teams can collaborate with functions across the organization to maximize impact. It builds on our recent series with GreenBiz on collaborating with other functions and our new report on Redefining Sustainable Business for a Rapidly Changing World.
BSR is excited to launch our new collaboration incubator that mobilizes and harnesses the power of business’s collective resources to ideate, design, explore, accelerate, and scale collaborative private sector solutions to sustainable development challenges. BSR members will participate in an ideation workshop to identify collaborative solutions to critical and emerging issues for business. Participants will take away a deeper understanding of the issues and ideas for solutions that organizations can advance on their own or in collaboration with others.
Registration for the BSR Member Forum is free for BSR members attending the Conference.
Can’t attend all three days of BSR18? Interested in bringing a colleague to the Member Forum? A highly discounted Tuesday-only rate has been created for BSR members to enable participation in the Forum, conference welcome reception, and opening plenary session and dinner.
