U.S. Election Information

Don’t forget to vote!

The 2018 U.S. midterm elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018—the first day of the BSR Conference. Voters unable or unwilling to vote at their polling stations on Election Day can vote via absentee ballots instead.

You can use one of the following methods to vote absentee:

  • You can look up your local election office. Then search for “Absentee Voting” or “Voting By Mail” and complete the application for an absentee ballot.
  • Complete the absentee ballot application that is included in your sample ballot, which your county election official will mail to you prior to the election.

Please note that the deadline to request these ballots is often well in advance of Election Day, so take these steps today to make sure you are able to vote in this year’s elections.

Absentee ballots must be received by the election official no later than the close of polls (8:00 pm) on Election Day. You may return your absentee ballot by in person or by mail to your county election official or in person to any polling place in your county.
